Title: 2.3 lumpy tickover Post by ghia-x on Nov 2nd, 2007, 2:08am Hi all. No dought all the good guys on here willl have come across this problem before. I've been to the garage & the say the fault is an EGR valve so I've replaced that. Guess what, its wores!! If its in top (auto) your coasting @ 30- 40- 50- etc, then raise the revs slightly, eg: to past something, then it becomes lumpy again......Doh... |

Title: Re: 2.3 lumpy tickover Post by Alastair on Nov 2nd, 2007, 1:57pm Check the wiring to/from the EDIS unit - ( hides under the screen washer bottle offside front wing ) - there are 11 wires. I dont know (yet) what they all do but the likely culprit could be the black / white which controls the voltage stabilisation of the fuel pump through the ECU Let us know Alastair |
