Title: Re: Remote Central locking ? Post by Tompion on Mar 17th, 2008, 2:28pm Try holding the remote in the middle of the car whilst programming, you may be holding it in a dead spot. I believe the method on the site should work with all remotes/cars. You could try one of the methods in the handbooks but no knowing if it will work with your car. All I have to do is lock or unlock the car and press any key on the remote – job done, but this isn’t the norm. Dave |

Title: Re: Remote Central locking ? Post by Pete_M on Mar 18th, 2008, 4:19pm Check the batteries in the fob. Mine has a habit of randomly flattening one of the batteries. With a meter you should get around 3v from each battery. They're £1.50 each from Asda, and around £3 each from places like Motor World.. Check the fuses are all ok, and that the "battery saving relay" is in place (it wasn't in place when I bought mine) Check the fuel cut-off switch is engaged properly. Reprogram fob, are you getting the confirmation bleep when you program it? |
