Title: Re: Air Distribution Problem(Climate Control) Post by mr._floppy on Nov 6th, 2008, 10:06pm I have a similar situation. I just manually close the dash vents to ensure max blowing power gets to the screen. ;) |

Title: Re: Air Distribution Problem(Climate Control) Post by Snoopy on Nov 7th, 2008, 7:45am It can take a few seconds for the system to adjust itself on mine it was NOT instantaneous , just took a few seconds for the motors to adjust the flaps. |

Title: Re: Air Distribution Problem(Climate Control) Post by Simmo on Nov 7th, 2008, 9:11am The other point to remember with these cars is that the 'doors' inside the vents have/had a strip of felt along their edges to create a good seal when they are closed. Over the passage of time this deteriorates and so there is not such a positive flow as air can by-pass them. Any attempt at rectifying the problem involves removing the dash in order to access the vent doors. :) |

It says in the handbook: Note: When the centre or side vents are opened, air always flows out of these vents. |
