Title: steering Post by NormanHall on Jul 13th, 2009, 6:43am 97 2.9 12v This has just started to happen I can drive for miles and everything is perfect, then on the odd occasssion when I turn to the left the steering wheel seems to become stiff and needing a little bit extra effort to turn it. it is though there is a high spot that has to be overcome, it worries me as this might get worse. |

After changing cats I wondered why there is a knocking sound everytime I turn the wheel. Reason: the steering rod joint (probably the same part as the clamp?) caught on to the LHS exhaust manifold heatshield (LHD car). |
