Title: flickering
Post by big_timer on Jul 26th, 2009, 7:25pm
i have noticed just today that whilst driving over rough road surface my airbag light on the dash starts to flicker.
i take it that there is a loose connection somewhere but where do i look to rectify the problem?

typical... re-soldering the instrument cluster usually solves the problem

I also get this happening, after reading through the threads I think a few others do as well.

It will only happen on mine when the fascia becomes warm from the heater.

Seems to me like a loose connection behind the fascia panel, whereas giving it a slight tap with my fist it goes out until the next pothole.

lesterlad these are the exact symptoms... had the same situation. resoldering did the trick. it's very common and well documented on the polish forum, so if you get a chance browse it using google translate...
