Title: Heated windscreen Post by QuentinG on Nov 3rd, 2018, 8:45pm Hello, I tried out the heated windscreen on my 2.3 Ultima this week and I find that it works on the passenger side only. I just wondered if this is a known issue and if there are any possible fixes short of a new windscreen? Thanks in advance. |

Title: Re: Heated windscreen Post by Simmo on Nov 3rd, 2018, 9:13pm Check fuses 38 and 41 in the passenger side (Auxillary) fuse box. 38 right hand side, 41 left hand side. Check the connections which are at the bottom of the screen on either side at the base of the pillars. Look at Section five here (http://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/manual/windows/windscreen.pdf) to see the location. You may just see the lower ones but if not this (http://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/manual/body/trim/grillecowl.pdf) may help. The lower fittings are right at the junction of this unit and the screen pillars. |

Title: Re: Heated windscreen Post by Tompion on Nov 4th, 2018, 10:47am It's not unusual for the heated screens to fail. Some details about testing the connections here: http://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.pl?board=admin;action=display;num=1328395645 |
