Title: See 'em all the time
Post by jonnycab on Oct 10th, 2006, 1:53am
I must see between 5 - 10 Scorps a day, everyday, sometimes more. But then again I am probably looking out for them as a comparison to mine. ;)

The other day whilst waiting at a set of temporary traffic lights....out of the 10 or so cars that came through, three of them were Scorps :o

This part of Essex must be a hotspot for Scorps.....more common than UFO sightings they are!! ;D

Funny, I was thinking the same thing.  Down here in Bexhill and especially around Eastbourne too, there are Scorpios everywhere.  Its clear from reading this section that to see one in some areas is a rarity, but here if you take a 10 mile local drive, then you are pretty much guaranteed to see two or three.

We also have two scorpio taxis in the town here - a dark green saloon and a silver estate.  None of the other Scorpio owners seem particularly friendly. If you do nod or flash your lights at other scorpio drivers they tend to look at you as if you had two heads!  I don't think there are any other forum members in this area from the postings I have seen.

I only work nights, & during the day I'm usually housebound looking after the littl'un, while the wifes at work.
If it had the taxi signs on it then it may have been me, but quite rare to see me in Basildon at that time of morning.....honestly can't remember :-/

Unless it was near A127 turn off. I did go & get some oil on Saturday from Halfords. :)

Just remembered....last Tuesday morning I was en-route from Wickford, to the mother in laws in Billericay, via the country lanes. I wasn't in Basildon, but it is still Basildon district :)
