I now have confirmation of the 6 South Midlands Meetings for the summer of 2010

A note for the regulars of this meet:
Andrew (the previous organiser) no longer has anything to do with the organisation of these meetings, any communication can be forwarded to the e-mail address or phone number which is on the bottom of the flyer.

Hmmmmm, PIES ;D ;D ;D. I kind of knew this would be back on m8. I wonder if they are going to shove us in a mud filled field though >:(. Obviously a strong support for this event over the years, from scorpio & granada owners isnt enough to warrent a place in the main display area >:(. The last time i went i was told anything after 1979 had to park in the field & wasnt allowed to show >:( >:(. Funny how a brand new Maseratti was allowed in the main area though ???. I will give it a go on April the 13th & see how the ground lies.

Anyone else fancy tagging along on Tuesday 13th. Probably advisable to get there early . I will be going straight after work so no taking the proverbial out of the green uniform ;-0 :-)

I'll try and make it Craig but I don't finish work till 5pm plus It will be rush hour on the dreaded M69 /6 /42

A good night was had by all. A fair turnout considering it was the first meet of the year. Plenty of cars to drool over, from vintage to exotica. Only let down of the night was the organisers enforcing the 'no moderns' in the main display area, which we duly noted....then completley ignored :-). If enough of us turn up though i have been told we can have a 'scorpio corner',although it will be round the back along with all the other moderns.... Subarus, BMW's, Mercedes,TVR's etc :-) :-)

yes was a great evening, Andrew tried his best to take over but no one listened, think he gave up after bernie had a word with him lol
