Title: Re: rear spoliers ?? Post by Ultima_Bloke on Feb 7th, 2005, 6:38pm Wasnt there a posting on here a while ago, bout granada spoilers not fitting scorpio boot lids?? Something along the lines of one being more curved than the other?? ??? |

Title: Re: rear spoliers ?? Post by craig on Feb 7th, 2005, 6:52pm thats what i thought... but looking at the discription it states it does fit the scorpio, and with an e-bay name like ford parts, they may just be right,i have asked a question about the fitment, and when i get a reply,i'll let you all know.... craig.. |

Title: Re: rear spoliers ?? Post by Mrs Phuturephantasy on Feb 7th, 2005, 7:05pm I have seen a guy who fitted an earlier Granada spoiler to his Scorpio and it did fit but it just didn't look right as the Scorpio has a very slight curve across the boot and the Granada was more severe . My brother has been driving an unmarked Police car which just happens to be a Scorpio with a spoiler fitted which looks like it was a factory fit - even has a brake light built in and really does match the flow of the car - no idea where it came from but I have offered the local nick £50 for it. |

Title: Re: rear spoliers ?? Post by Baz on Feb 7th, 2005, 7:29pm Mrs PP, don't you know you should never offer money to the Police...unless they want to up your council tax because of a shortfall from central government....oh and their pension fund needs topping up!! (According to our local police anyway) The first in my eyes is corruption, the second two are just daylight legalised robbery!! Baz PS, My beloved does not want a Scorpio so we will not be bidding for that lovely blue 2.3 one!! |

Title: Re: rear spoliers ?? Post by Dazzer0016 on Feb 10th, 2005, 9:57pm fitted a after market one to mine(came from Australia) just measure across where the two black rubber stops are on the inside of the boot lid then get the seller to measure the spoiler struts, drill off the rivets to the rubber stops, drill the boot lid and fit only prob is, the weight of the spoiler wont allow the boot to spring open far...and to mess around with the tension springs is a nighmare. |

Title: Re: rear spoliers ?? Post by SaveTheNight on Feb 13th, 2005, 12:56pm we have had many posts about it before ..and I made that one ..but there are quite a few that fit with some persuation and patience .. Audi 90 i think was site recommended .. when i was looking originally I tried loads at a salvage yard and its worth noting that some look fantastic from a particular angle and lousy from others ..so it really needs one sitting there on the boot before making the decision .. or have a mate with you to give their views .. it's only my opinion but I do think it solves or nearly solves the ass end poor design .. |

Title: Re: rear spoliers ?? Post by Vulcan on Feb 27th, 2005, 1:14pm STN.. does it affect the operation of the bootlid? I fitted an aftermarket spoiler to my old cavalier and forever after when I was in the boot the flippin lid would come crashing down trying to decapitate me. George |

Title: Re: rear spoliers ?? Post by Paul B on Feb 27th, 2005, 7:39pm Blimey, some of those pictures are HUGE! Got so close up there on the interior shot that you can see the dust left in the trinket tray - he needs a better Hoover! ;) Got a question though... on the front end shot... what's with the sunroof? Since when did they pop up like that? ??? And that must've re-sprayed, right? |

Title: Re: rear spoliers ?? Post by Badboytunes on Feb 27th, 2005, 8:00pm Thats not an original sun roof i dont think. Lynns opened like that on her clio. Didnt sum scorps get made without a sunroof..? |
