Title: Radiator top hose for 24V 2.9 Post by DavidBE on Today at 7:00pm I don't suppose anyone has a spare radiator top hose for a 2.9 24V Cosworth Scorpio they'd be willing to sell? I've been without the car for over 3 weeks and having to rely on internet-ordered deliveries of food shopping for what's become 3 weeks while the car's been off having some bodywork done, plus radiator repairs that ended up requiring the radiator to be shipped off to a specialist company to repair/rebuild it as the only one I could find for sale was in Germany, who wanted 3 times the price they used to be for it. My garage were just giving the car a final road test before bringing it back to me this morning when they discovered the top hose was split and leaking. So still no car, and I can't find a hose anywhere, even in the baltic breaker networks. (Found one for the Granada Mk3 Cosworth, but while the diagrams look similar it's a different Ford FINIS number.) So if anyone has one on a shelf or in a box somewhere ... Typically, while I got two boxes of spares with the car back in 2020, and there's a radiator hose among other things, it's a bottom hose! I'll pay, and shipping costs. of course. |
