Title: Should I change the Transmission Fluid ? Post by 98scenic on Apr 29th, 2008, 1:03pm My car is booked in for a service this coming Thursday at my local garage Should I get them to change the automatic transmission fluid at the same time, or is it a "sealed for life" gearbox ? Cheers |

But it definately needs to be changed and with the new filter. I tried to maintain a period of 20.000km on my oils, because in Finland the temperatures may vary quite a lot during a years cycle. 30.000km would mostly be just fine, but the better you take care of your car, the better it takes you from a to b... |

Get some quotes from auto transmission specialists. Your local FMD shouldn't be trusted............... at all, no, I'm only kidding, or am I ? ;D |
