I have been trying various settings in the Gateway of the OBD-2 software using my tricom lead & thought I’d post some of the settings that improve my setup:
Not ticking interface/direct ISO makes the ABS connection quicker.
Not ticking Protocol/Manufac. Enhanced login means under the data tab the list is already there (don’t have to send for supported data).**
If you have a stable set up try the following:
In Protocol try reducing Ford PMW as much as possible. I have set mine to 1 and the refresh when retrieving data from several sources is much much better & it doesn’t seem to cause any dropped connections. As an example of the difference, time taken to download the enhanced list:
Ford PMW set to 120
156 of 1965 possible, 2minutes 25seconds
Ford PMW set to 1
156 of 1965 possible, 40seconds
