greetings,
car has been running ok for a while now up until weekend. came to abode, stopped and then thought I will pull further up the path. ignition back on instrument panel dead, no start. investigation revealed fuse 16 blown. replaced, same result. lights ok.after stripping out the dash et al removing all plugs etc. still a short on fuse. ECU good as well as comfort module. the problem wire is purple and yellow. I have trawled the internet looking for wiring diagrams or a wiring manual to purchase to know avail. where does this wire go ? the owners manual for the 1996 car is pretty vague stating that fuse 16 is associated with Electronics. any info. greatly appreciated

The wiring diiagrams and fuse information are available via the 'How To Do Things' section - 6th item down 'Wiring Diagrams' - all very kindly loaded by Snoopy.
