Well I will be there this year but sadly not in the Scorpio...... I will have to drape the Scorpio flag of shame over the S Class this year!!

Yes, would have loved to have made it. Leeds isn't too far from home but, unfortunately Fathers Day is pre-booked this year.

I'm taking names for the annual get together at harewood house, leeds.

please only add your name if you are seriously interested in attending this meeting as it takes a lot of organising. :)

I'll leave this post open for 2 weeks to see how much interest we get. this maybe the last (big) meeting as Scorpio's are falling fast now a days.

all members are welcome to attend (even if you are Scorpio-less! ;)) all that's asked if you give your car a clean up before hand. very few of us have 'show' cars.

cost will be around the £5-£10 per car/family, which allows you into the car show, main house and gardens.

i will have a word with the unleashed team and see what they say i thing 3 of our lot aint in scorps this year but i am back in the scorp 95 fold and will be going in that this year give the old mk3 a rest ;D ;D

Just to keep you all informed It looks like it will be a combined meet this year the " unleashed and Scorpio Forum" all together in ONE BIG group but it has to be confirmed on Monday. Anyone any objections please let us know ...but I think its a good thing saves on organisation/paperwork etc, etc.....

These are the names of the people that have intimated that they are going to Harewood this year. We are having a combined meet with the unleashed group and Lee from that group has offered very kindly to organise the tickets for us .

Dave, The details are HERE (http://www.harewood.org/cgi/events/events.cgi?t=template.htm&a=501). The usual set up is that those who have 'registered' get a discount ticket and it is a good plan to arrive early, 8- 8 30am as it is in a rural location and gets pretty busy. There is an area set aside for various 'clubs' and so your 'Pass' directs you to the appropriate area. (They are numbered and sized according to the numbers in each group).

I would have taken the Y reg but I'm doing Scorton Vintage and Country fair on the 20th and 21st of June - showing the Westfield.

I am however going to try to make Ford day on Blackpool prom- normally happens middle of September.

As regards payment pay on the day someone will collect it ... When I get the tickets I will ask for postal address from all the applicants sot they can get their tickets . Just hope that the Harewood people get their act together this year they were late last year.. and some went missing in the post...

i'll have my new autel ms509 scanner (this should be able to scan most cars) with me and stuart might bring his fds 2000 with him (covers most pre 2001 fords), so we will be well covered! :)

Is there a camp site near there...so we could stop for the weekend ..160 mile journey, but it does seem a good venue..... and is it too late for a ticket....If maybe someone could sort out my lights for me , It might be worth coming up... Plus i'd like to see the scorps and the proud owners.. But i might feel a embarresed cause my scorps a bit rusty at the wheel arches....and it's not quite ...... concourse fit.... 8)..or a nice colour like Samakand... ;D....Sorry... :)

I think there are a couple of spare tickets.. When I get them I will let you know.
As regards your Scorpio don't worry about it .. NOT everyone has theirs in exhibition conditions most are used as everyday cars and therefore the condition reflect that. Just a wash and polish is usually enough .. you WILL be MOST welcome if we have a spare ticket.

OK Have spoken to Lee from the Unleashed Site and he is sending the tickets to ME ASAP .. we ordered 14 It looks like we might be a couple short so I will see if I can get some more direct from Harewood today .

Hey every one

After the mids meet the other day and a chat with lee i'll be goin to harewood to :), i'll be in the little fiat 500 as most of you know the 24v is SORN having its 4.0l - manual - facelift - retrim etc treatment. But i'll have some photos of the big old girl in the window lol.

Im bringing some parts for Trev so i'll have a look in the shed for anything else surplus and bring them to.

First time to harewood so will be nice to put faces to names and meet you all

yes, you show them the coloured sheet with the number on it and they will tell you where to park up.

one of us is generally there early (from 8am), so you'll see someone about.

Was a great show, met a load of members off both forums, nice to put faces to names at last

bring on next year and hopefully i'll be in the cossie again by then, still the fiat got a good bit of attention, so much it left harewood with a nice line of paint chips missing were some one had peered in and must of caught a watch or summat on it @ >:(

Matt so sorry to hear of the damage, I must say that i was probably attracting more attention than some of the Scorpios/ Granada's ... It was non stop while I was there watching.
