Hi absolutely no chance at that price, seems to be may 97 build so not even a facelift, cant read all the vin but with the number plates removed I would be concerned to say the least :D

Will watch with interest though, seems a lot of dealer stamps for 15000 miles and of course it's a saloon whereas the estates are the ones to go for, as more practical (just my opinion) .

Perhaps some local member would like to view as the ad is really bad if you actually wanted to buy you need a lot more information.

I say best of luck with it as whoever buys it will need to run it in at least! definately not one for my already full driveway
::)

Hi Pic 5 seems to have the reg number and also a private plate number but can not make it out fully. I'm still waiting for my old one to come up for sale P352 NLL been on a sorn for a while now been spotted on this forum in the Romford area when not on sorn. Not a member on here as I think he/she would of commented by now. I have written to DVLA but they would not give me any details. I have owned 3 Cosworth versions and one old Granada Cosworth.

Dug a little and it appears to have done 1500 miles ONE THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED you didnt read wrong in 13 years had 14k on the clock in 2006, like I said if you want a cossie to run in then this is for you.

It is still a lot of money for a scorp that may have the bad wiring and as Torbayboy says its not a facelift, loads of improvements over the first ones.

Could have been owned by a little old lady who used it to pop down to the post office 1/2 a mile away once a week to collect her pension. Short journeys are not the friend of the 24v...

Reg Number is R652 YEG and all the MOT details check out on the DVLA site. Says Reg Number changed on 9/7/98.
If you look at the log book the index and vehicle number are in the wrong boxes. Hence the arrows. Looking at them the vehicle number is part of what you can read from the Vin plate on the floor.

Just had a look on total car check seems to of had a mileage issue on 17/08/11. Could of been a typo on the previous MOT or could it be someone has tampered with mileage just before every MOT? Not many advisory’s on each MOT. Not looking to buy just intrigued as the price seems to have dropped already I’m sure it was £10,000 this morning as I get emails from autotrader and email states this price.

Funny I seem to remember it was nearer 10 grand!

One to be careful of I'm sure, checked the stamps in the book  and they seem to tally with the services.

What they would call "museum quality" I presume, probably takes hours to get to 60 mph, Cossies need to be stretched and at less than 100 miles a year it's gonna have big problems if you start to use it properly.

I've got one thats overused, on nov 96 build date, if you've got a grand for it :D

Incidentally the 2.3 ghia I had and sold recently had the facelift grill and vr build code (jun 97) so ford were using ad hoc bits then as this was the only facelift bit "on show", lights on the back were early (and horrible) and the 3 headrest seat was fitted by myself (and removed before sale).

That cream leather is really smart. We had a member in Kent some years ago who had one with that colour interior.
Where are you Kef?

Down to £3500 now that's a big price drop. I wonder if he/she had any interest at all.

Hi all,

Looks like this one is back up for sale. I think there is a dreamer trying to sell this one. On autotrader  R652 YEG £14,995. 16,000 miles. But when I have looked it up there is a mileage correction for 57 miles so perhaps the clocks have been wound back a few times in between MOt’s. Based in Hornsey, crouch end.

As I said "museum quality" and not being an ultima, not enough toys!!

Feel as though someone may take the bait and preserve it for posterity, need to change those rear lights though (IMHO), makes mine seem a give away with only 5 times the mileage??

Happy scorpio-ing
