Previous posts lost-all of them!! Does anyone know how the re circ valve works? 1995 24v Ultima and mine will operate when the button is pressed but will not go back even with the engine off.(gradually goes back after a couple of hours) Disconnecting the rubber tube allows it to spring back immediately. Glyn

Thanks Snoopy -it does but I was wondering why mine stays open so long unless the vacuum pipe is disconnected. Cheers Glyn

sounds like a one way valve is sticking but as to whre its located ... Sorry no knowledge......if the recirculate valve operates correctly when you disconnect its obvioulsy still getting vacum supplied to itor the ther es a little electric vale inside it sticking... thats wher I would start looking..... they are quite exposed to the elments if I remember correctly
