I've noticed these dark nights that my dipped headlights are less than brilliant , the manual says 55watters are standard fitment. I used to put 130 watt blubs in my old Volvo, can I upgrade the halogen bulbs and are they available?

hi there imo, you'd be asking for problems changing the wattage. i've got 1 new h/light and 1 old one (09/97), and the difference in light output on the road is tremendous. i'll need to get round to replacing the lens on the old one soon.

Strange - I've recently bought my 2nd Scorp - a 97 'R' plate and the lights on it are NOT up to the standard o my older 95 'M' - I must check which bulbs are fitted in each. Probably end up swapping things...

Hi one and all With regards to poor light visability try replacing the headlamp bulbs with 55w Xenon gas filled ones - what a difference!!! I found them to be cheaper than at your local Halfords dare I say from Vauxhall Part No. 91126412 £6.90 + vat each They are so good I replaced them all (low & high beam) might actually now need to wear shades ( ((><)) )
