Anyone know of cheap insurers ?

I'm looking for an insurance company to cover my wife to drive my M-Reg, 2.9, 24V cossie. I don't want her on my policy (motor trade, policy), I want a seperate private policy for her. I'm in South London, so premiums will probably be high, but does anyone know of a good insurance company(if there is any such thing, as a good insurance company).

You get what you pay for with insurance... IMV ....but there are plenty to choose from and lots online to compare quotes with... but there are a lot of variables witht he quotes age , where you live type of car, history, etc etc, so it a rather personal thing really because i pay £ per anum for a scorpio does not mean that you will get the same..... Have search good luck

For unusual requests, I use Direct Motorline insurance brokers because they have an underwriter on the premises who the call centre staff will go and talk to if you ask for something unusual. I got a really good deal on my van for SDP which was very difficult to get elsewhere, saved me about £200 on last year! If you want to try them and want the number, send me a personal message. Good luck Ellie

I've used www.its4me.co.uk on mine and the mrs's cars for a few years now and no complaints.
