what's that thing with the red button?

Ok, it's probably been covered somewhere else, but I have Ultima Estate and while rear trim was out to replace the speakers in the back noticed the 'alarm' looking gizmo at rear right with a red button on the top.
Tempted to press the top to see what happens but resisted the urge.
Anyone tell me what it is?

probrably the fuel shut off switch..... designed for rear inparcts. on the saloon its near the boot locking catch.... sum one with an estate will tell u for sure tho.....
