FINIS no. check

Can anyone please confirm the following FINIS no.s ?
4000411
6941997
They are an automatic gear box gasket & screen supposedly for a 1996 2.9 12v.
I wish to check as they were supplied by a FMD who lost the initial order and then tried to tell me my car is a Granada.

Hi Paul,
they are listed for the Scorpio
Gasket - from 01/1993 to 07/2000
Screen - from 10/1997 to 08/1998 but also shows for Sierra/Granada/Scorpio 09/1988 to 10/1994

Thanks for the input. So gasket is OK but what about the screen ? The dates have a gap which is where my car fits.

slight care needed I think with the screen if you needed the finis for an actual purchase ... Snoopy will confirm .. but I think you have to also state the mirror fixing as there are three or four different ones ... I may be wrong though ... regards .....STN

Well I checked it against Pauls VIN Number and it was the only one listed -  but as STN says care is required but I guess as you only wanted to confirm your suspicions and make sure FMD get the right ones in stock!
Its the screen in the autobox not the windscreen

My confusion is now sorted.
I spoke to the supplying FMD who said they were right & the other FINIS code doesn`t exist - not at all helpful. I then visited another small FMD to buy a sump plug washer ( 20p ! ) and was able to check both numbers - they are both correct but the 7284671 no. has recently been discontinued so the 4000411 no. now applies 1988-98
