For the last month or so I've had a knocking noise coming from the back end when moving slow over rough ground,I immediatly suspected the rear drop link arms.
Anyway,Today I changed the rear disc's and pads,whilst in the shop,thought shall I get the arms anyway and change them while the arseend is in the air?No i'll come back later if I need them when I've had a look. With the wheels off I noticed a 1.5" stone inside the small sump at the bottom of the spring so I removed it,along with a few smaller ones,did the discs and pads,back on the road, No noise!
Could be well worth a look if your in that area of the car!  dart
