Hello when I was handed over my ford scorpio. I was given a silver electronic box. He told me it was given to him as a spare and never used. I was also told it goes under the passenger side glove box. It has 1 big socket hole at the back. Its almost the size of a small car radio.
It appears to have a circular heat grill or something at the front. It has a big tag on one of the flat sides saying BOSCH.........made in Germany. Does anyone have a clue what it is for. What does it do. Should I keep it or flog it. Im really short of cash at the moment so I need to know. If I should sell it. If I should also how much for?
Please help.

This sounds like the PATS unit which is mentioned in the appropriate section under alarms and is,or was,fitted behind the glove box.

Thanks for the reply.
I looked at the link expaining the PATS. It also shows it However it looks a little different but I think its all it could be also after looking. As It doesnt seem like theres any other box under there.
