Could anybody tell me: Will a auto gear box from a Mk3 Granada Cosworth fit and work in my Scorpio 2.9 12v?

no the 24v cossie box is eletronically controled,the 12v is the early vacuum and only partaily eletronic.
early and all 2.9 12v box code = alde
all other model box code =aldE
hope this helps anyone .
the only other advise could give is that the mk 3 granadas sohc engine autoboxes can be used by swapping front bell housing and combinded oil pump.

If you mean the 24 Cossie 1991 - 1994 Mk3 then yes it would fit & work but not as good as the STD 12V one as it's set-up for the 24V engine but is a stronger box.
The Scorpio 94+ cossie one is a no no.
