When i got my cossie ultima, it was missing the cd changer from the boot, i am looking to replace. 2nd hand ones are £70-£100 on ebay etc. which seems a bit dear, considering the price of new ones. has anyone done a replacement and knows the easiest/cheapest way to do it (whilst keeping all the functionality)? radio is 2007 model cheers

Just keep looking on eBay. My estate was without a CD changer too. Bought one on eBay for £26.00 - "faulty" - turned out to be a stuck disk, so I got 6 CDs free too!! - it's worked perfectly since. Recently bought another complete setup for under £44.00 stereo, amp CD multichanger etc, should be a nice profit there. Patience is all that is required. There are a couple of BINs for £69.00, and a few recent completed sales show figures of less than £40.00 Tony

Hi, You may find this page from the main site helpful as it documents with pictures the upgrade you are asking about, including your adapter question, complete with part numbers. http://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/radioupgrade.htm Hope that helps Geoff

hmmm, yep, i dont want to change the radio, just buy a changer that will easily hook up to the 2007 (without rewiring) and still work on the control stalk. the 2060 obviously will, but was wondering if there were others i could buy, with adapter, as the 2060 seems rare/expensive/only 6 discs etc....
