Interior mirror

I know it's been said before, but if you ignored the advice like I did beware!!!
Once your interior mirror shows signs of failing (dark patches or 'water' marks)....do something about it!!!..even if its just leaving a cloth underneath...
Mine started to show what I would describe as a watermark at the beginning of last week....got in the car on sunday to find the alien blood had leaked and burned into the plastic trim..now looks a complete mess..
Also means I need to sort out a new mirror!
