Just had a thought here (not bad, I know ) What happens if the locking mechanism for the fuel filler lid jams or somehow doesn't open with the central locking. Then what? Is there some way to force it open? Hasn't happened to me yet but just playing it safe here, incase I find myself stranded without gas and a locked filler lid

Well you can probably get at the device by removing the RH trim panel in the boot, though that in itself is likely to break something else... Darren
