bezel & cover gear selector

can someone tell me if the bezel cover and gear selector are the same on all scorpio models.. ie would one off a 2.9 R reg fir a 2.3 R reg? or are they differant?
also.. would an older one from a m reg rit an r reg both 2.3L ??

I'm pretty sure they are all the same, older auto selectors seem to have a round design on the top of the stick but thats the only difference i've noticed

the 12v IS different to the 2.3 and 24 v ( Different gearbox)
