Can we post advice on where we bought parts if we get a good deal so this info is shared with others? I ask 'cause I just found a place where I bought a new set of all 4 vented discs complete with pads for my 98 2.3 Ultima estate for 91 quid including delivery, which seems like a pretty good deal. Delivery took 5 days but then I did order by phone at 9.30 on a Saturday night. Thought it might be a good idea to ask first before putting any dealers names on the forum. Rules and all.

GBK Performance 01398_332228. They are open Monday to Saturday 9am to 10pm and Sundays 2pm to 10pm. I found them on E Bay but bought via the phone. First time they sent the correct front discs & pads but the wrong rears, I phoned them they asked me to call back another day when a certain guy was in. He identified the right ones and arranged for the delivery to drop off replacements and collect the return ones at the same time. So I didn't have to pay to return the stuff. So each pair of discs cost about 25 quid pads 16 quid a set and delivery around a tenner. Only done a couple hundred miles on them but so far so good. If as you say they don't warp then it's a blinding deal.

Yeah, my cheapo E-Bay ( £19 the pair ) front discs did warp after about 6K miles, however their replacements ( £30 the pair ) are doing fine after 10 K miles. So, you pays your money........

Got a pair of Quinton Hazell Discs (Fronts) from the A1 Motor Stores group in Exeter, when I replaced them. Only £23.00 the pair. Got genuine Lucas pads off Ebay. Fortunately there's now a super new A1 Store just opened in Torquay, and the guys there are really friendly and helpful, so now I don't have to go as far. Always had excellent service from A1. HERE
