I have just received my bushes from FMD,2 front and 2 rear also 2 anti-rollbar bushes. What I really need to know as I cannot seem to find any info on the site is regarding the fitting procedure for the front bushes. Is it total removal of the wishbone and press this bush out or can it be done in situ? The other bit I need to know is the torque setting for the anti-rollbar bolts.Any help and advice would be appreciated.Roy.

Instructions are here..... http://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/wishbone.htm I couldn't advise whether the front bushes can be changed in situ, as when I did mine a few weeks ago, I replaced both wishbones (one ball joint gone & the other pretty loose) & the bushes came ready fitted Lets hope your ball joints are okay

The front bushes are really not designed to be removed by us mere mortals , so apart from burning them off as Scorpionman suggests or using a smidgeon of Semtex, there's the vexed question of how you get the new ones in. Soapy water just won't do it, that new rubber is HARD

A bush remover/installer cylinder tool (available from all good spares shops) would probably do the job Or maybe, like the way you used to fit Cortina drop link bushes....cut them in half & push them in either side, so that they meet halfway through .....or is that a bad idea
