Has anyone rebuilt their AC compressor? I am about to swap mine over for a second-hand replacement as when I had my AC system checked recently the AC company said they found speckles of dye on the compressor. Just wondering as I will have a spare I don't mind pulling apart if these are serviceable? The AC firm said to throw it away but I hate throwing things away hehe

When my old pump seized, I thought I'd take it apart, not to repair it but to have a look inside....it was a bit of a mess I did notice though that if you were carefull enough when pulling the two halves of the casing apart then it would be possible to replace the rubber sealing ring between them.....that's if you can get another seal

Interesting Mike. Are you saying that all those parts you link to will fit the AC compressor fitted to the Scorpio?
