24v cossie steering rack?

did all the cossies have the adaptive steering rack as standard fit? mine is leaking, i was gonna get one from ebay, the guy says its cossie, how can i tell for sure its an adaptive one? what does the adaptive one look like? pete

It has a plug on it for an electrical connector. I've fitted standard racks onto my 24v and i cant tell the difference the non speed sensor rack will fit just fine

Got to agree with Highlander here, i too fitted the other rack and it worked fine. I think the speed sensitive one was just an additional selling point at the time. john.n
