hey all just wandering whats involved in sticking a cossie auto box on a 12v lump, then making it all work, reason being ive got 2 12v lumps doing nothing and my 2.3 (auto) has some bottom end probs, ive got a cossie box in my garage to atm so was thinging of sticking the 12v lump on the cossie box then dropping that into the 2.3, i want to use the cossie box as the wiring should be the same on the 2.3 auto box, i reckon ive got to swap the ecu but which one do i use? any help would be helpful lol Matt

It wont be impossible but it looks VERY complicated can you not stick a manual in it?

that was on of my thoughts but that means getting all the pedal box, prop, and linking the ecu out, dont wanna spend to much and as i already have a 12v lump and a cossie box it wont cost me anything

Sounds like a LOT of work to me. Don't forget you will have to change the instrument cluster as 4/6 cyl are different...and that is just for starters. Then there is the matter of exhausts, radiator...the list goes on. Better to try and sell off the 2 12v lumps and get a good s/h 2.3 - you can still use the 24V autobox on the 2.3
