You could consider changing the terminals from square to round as I did. There seems to be alot more round terminal batteries about than square terminal ones & they seem to be cheaper as well ..... New terminals are about £7.00 for a pair of good heavy duty ones I paid £45 for my 680 amp round terminal cadnium (calsium) battery from my local motor factors. If I'd wanted the equivalent square terminal battery then they would have had to order one in & it would have been about £65 Hope this helps

Just so as to avoid any confusion....when I said terminals, I didn't mean the actual battery terminals, but the lead terminals Thought I'd clear that up before anyone started trying to yank the posts out with a pair of pliers

hi there dont change batery terminals with out your totally 110% compitant at doing this eg..an auto electricain-because you can cause more problems than you cure-eg each strand off wire that doenst contact causes high resistance and the scorpio usses multi plex wiring system which dont take kindly too surges off any kind-do your self a favour pay that little bit more and fit VARTA BATTERY-been using them for yrs without-trouble-heres a simple fact for you-pick up a cheap one then pick up a varta one-you WILL notice the varta one is more heavey because its got more lead coverage than its competitors-hope this helps.karl.
