Ford did make heavy duty towing springs for the Scorp saloon, but they're no longer available. I have tried to get a pair, but it would seem they are like rocking horse poop You could fit estate springs, as they are a bit stiffer, or try a pair of spring assisters

Jimmy Jaffa. My stretched funeral cars all have uprated springs front and rear.Coleman Milne at Westhoughton,Bolton get them specially made but they aint cheap ! If you approach them they call the Scorpio a Mk9 limo. The other alternative is to get a Monroe load leveller kit(LA355)it comes with two air assisted shockers, piping, valve and gauge, just bolt em on in place of your shockers, about £180,but much easier than messing about with springs, gauge and valve go in boot. GOZZ.
