Door open/close sensor

The door open light is constantly on for my rear driver's side door (also meaning I cannot set the alarm) . It looks like the pin switch doesn't control this - just the interior light. Does anyone know where the sensor for this is? Thanks! Steve

Hi, switch should be on car lock in door. Now I have the same problem on driver's door. Unfortunatelly one week after I finished new audio implementation(of course with damping and laminate on doors ) so i have to put it down to have access inside

Hi, thanks for the advice. I took the door panel off and removed the locking mechanism. The alarm switch was hanging off and I clipped it back on where I thought it should go. At least the door open light is off now, but it doesn't even come on when the door's open! Oh well - at least I can set the alarm. Thanks again, Steve.
