Hi Managed to break 1 of the fittings that holds in place the handle to release the bonnet catch Has anyone managed a fix or does it mean a new bonnet grille is required? Ta Paul

I have a spare pre-facelift grille in the shed if you need one.

Pegasus. Do you mean one of the little protrusions at the side of the plastic handle,or one of the webs into which they click ? The handle just springs out and is easily replaced,or you could do a web repair with a drilled piece of ally and two pop rivets. If you just need a handle, let me know. GOZZ.

Gozz, I understand it is the 'web' which has cracked and I suggested a similar remedy. We must have gone to the same school of 'bodgery' !. Thanks for your help and advice today. Mike

Thanks Gozz & Simmo, I'll try the alli and the pop rivets first. Thanks Mike, if the bodge fails I'll be after your grille. You're all stars. Cheers Paul
