Facelift headlamps

I've got spare headlamps but not a good matching set So has anyone managed to 'paint' the inner of a prefacelift headlamp to get the desired effect - if so, what's best. BTW - car sailed through MOT regardless today Cheers Paul

Good news Paul !. . You may have seen THIS which shows the finished result but there is no mention of the type of paint used. I don't think the author still uses the site and Craig left a long while ago. Hope to see you on Sunday, Mike.

i got a lens off one pre face light. i sanded back the chrome and there was nice matt black plastic behind it. looked ok as well to be honest!

my dad has done a few sets, sand them back prime and sand then prime and then satin black, looked spot on.

I have a pair of the black plastic inserts from a facelift car. Remove the glass and replace with these... job done! pm me if anyone wants them!
