Apologies in advance if this is a dumb question, but is it possible to remove a 7000 series stereo without first removing the walnut surround? Thanks.

I'm sure you just pop the extractor keys, move the keys outwards in opposing directions and pull.

Buy em cheap in parts shop,a pair of twin forked rods that fit in the two litle holes in the front of the set. GOZZ.
