are there any differences in the headlamp lenses from a pre face and face lift. i seem to remember that facelift lenses have a slight tint ? i know the differnces in the black and chrome just require the above. as someone knock my car headlamp and cracked it. many thanks matt

I recently pulled off my facelift lenses to clean them inside (they get dirty inside as well) & they just looked like normal clear glass Unless it's my eyes , then I'd say that all lenses are they same.....unless I inadvertently rubbed off the tint on the inside If anyone is interested, cleaning the inside of the lenses & the reflectors with a sponge & fairy liquid (wipe off with a good kitchen towel....Bounty ?).....& fitting 55W bright white Xenon bulbs to both dipped & full beam makes a hell of alot of difference to the nightime illumination of unlit country roads

JC. There is half a ton of kitchen rolls on it's way to you from Mr Bounty I am sure the glasses are all the same, the dark plastic bit gives the illusion of tint. GOZZ.

Found this in specs.....'In the last year of production, a new frontal treatment included a deeper and sculpted front bumper, colour coded grille surround, darkened inner headlamp surfaces and slightly changed headlamp lenses with a flatter convex.' http://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/specifications.htm

bear in mind these cars, even the facelift ones are 10 years plus, there could have been many swappings of parts taken place in that time
