The short answer is NO. This subject has been aired many times and if I remember correctly the Scorpio fobs work on a totally different principal to the later types. No one. to my knowledge, has yet found a fob or key that will work on our cars except the correct one.

but what is the difference between the 2 systems? the frequency within they work? sorry for my ingnorance;) but i like to figure it out . the locking module from a focus or mondeo is not useablein a scorp? i know the focus keyfob is adjustable with dipswitches , is there nothing you can do with those things? yesterday i went to a breaker , he has a scorp with the fob wich he wants to sell me for 25euro. i went into my car , i turned it in program mode , pressed the unlock button but no chime , only the chime after 20 secs. so that would mean it is not accepted . i looked on this site for info , i found something about synchronize and program but wich i have to do in wich order? greetz

It would appear that you have read the item on repairing the remote which does explain how the system works. Essentailly the code changes each time the fob is used. I understand this is referred to as a 'rolling programe'.The re-programming detail is detailed HERE. It could be that the remote fob simply wanted batteries,or it needs cleaning. It could of course be u/s.
