I have some 17inch wheels on my 1996 scorpio 2.5td. Im wondering if a 17inch wheel would fit in the boot space provided for the spare wheel? thank you in advance

Don't see any reason why it shouldn't......as long as tyre profile isn't too large

should fit if you use 45 profile tyres, it will stick up in the boot space as alloys are wider then the standard steel spare

I had a 12 spoke spare and it did not stick up very much..... Hardly noticeable with the boot floor covering back down .
