DIY Aircon repairs

Is it possible to susessfuly change the condenser and supply hose on an aircon system with out it leaking afterwards, mine is leaking from a supply hose and the condenser

NO the system has to be drained down , which has to be done with specialised equipment .. NOT one for DIY unless you have the equipment . Drain and refill should only cost in the region of £50. IT REALLY IS A very SPECIALISED JOB. THE REFRIGERANT CAN CAUSE VERY NASTY BURNS IF YOU GET IT ON YOUR HANDS/SKIN.

not only burns, but is highly poisonous, particularly if you are a smoker, oil on fingers gets on fag, then burns & inhaled. its quite horrible stuff, should wear correct gloves.
