High Level Brake Light

Hi All,
Can anyone help me, Is there a NACK/SPECIFIC WAY of removing the plastic cover that houses the High Level Brake Light on my Scorpio Ultima Saloon.
This is my second Scorpio and although I feel like I am reasonably handy, I have never been able to remove this cover 
Please Help.

yep pull it forward, its on a plastic ratchet thingy, if you look from below the shelf you can see how it works

Put a small diameter screw driver or similar in through the hole to release the racket and it will slide OFF... ( the hole has a small black plug in it , or should have !)
