You've been dragged into the 20th Century world of power steering then? I've never really thought the Scorpio had particularly sensitive steering compared to anything else, maybe its just a big difference to what you're used to? 45 psi in the front tyres maybe?

The Scorp is feather light compared to the Mondeo - you really can just turn it with your little finger. Scorps with the non-speed sensitive rack fitted have heavier steering at slow speeds compared to the SS racks and they feel the same @ 70mph.
