Paint Codes

Trying to find the colour of my car just to make sure that it the right colour before i get some paint for it, i have found the vin plate explanation page, but it doesnt list my paint code on it, does anyone have a full list of the paint codes, its code 58.

Im fairly sure that i have, Mine says 5 not s and it doesn list it on there, also im fairly sure that mine is medium charcoal green and it doesnt list it on the either.

December 97 build, fully loaded with everything except reversing sensors by the looks of it?
AND traction control on a 2.3 which was an option, not many 2.3's got it.
I'm pretty sure the vin plate diagram is from 1995 and other colours etc were added later

Blimey Stuart. Is there anything you cant do  . im currently trying to find out some info on my old beast . Wrote to the previous keeper who was quite helpfull, but cant trace for definate who the original owner was  . The chap i brought it off said it was a training car for the police, based at Hendon . I have contacted the garage where the car was sold from, but they have no info on record . I dont suppose the minefield of information you have could shed any light could it ? Cheers buddy...craig

Write to the DVLA and request the info from them .. There will be small charge but they WILL give you the previous owners, well they used to .
