How much paint?

Since I haven't done much carpainting before, how much paint and clearcoat (approximately) is needed to respray a front door? I'm would be doing it with compressor tools. Is 50 euros for a liter of ready mixed tone considered a decent price or should I still try to shop around? Any recommendations of an online store that sells it cheaper?
