Earlier on Snoopy gave me a link to the location of the timer control module, so today armed with that I set to work, only to find that it is not located as per the drawing in its place is the airbag control module. So were is it located? this is a 24v so maybe the drawing does not relate to that model.

If you take down the soft cover above your legs, which is attached to the plastic by two push buttons, put your hand up near to the edge of the plastic and nearer to the centre of the car, there is a little black box with a multi plug in the bottom of it. Two Phillips headed screws hold it to a metal bracket,if you are lithe you can get it out,if not remove the plastic, holding the cubby box and bonnet pull.If it is working on the 'not in park' or lights on mode, you can locate it by sound. GOZZ.

Thanks gozz so it was in the general area just not as per the drawing, good idea about leaving it in park or lights mode.
