Leaking rocker cover gasket

Judging by the smell of burning oil kicking up through the air vents & the amount of oily gunk around the rear top end of the engine & the fact that the back end of the brand new inlet manifold I fitted a month ago has an oily film on it, (it's even on the new fuel regulator), I'm presuming that the rocker cover gasket has sprung a leak at the rear Not a big problem, just a new gasket & obviously inner O ring plug gasket. Not had to do this job before, so have read this page http://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/engdata2.htm .....cylinder head cover 1st stage 3Nm, 2nd stage 9 Nm. A couple of questions though.... 9 Nm doesn't seem much, even for a gasket ....can anyone who has done this confirm this torque setting to be tight enough ? Also, is there a nut tightening sequence ?....or do you just work your way around the cover ? Cheers in advance for any advice

JC. As the seals are rubber a very high torque is not required to nip them.I have a sequence diagram,if you PM your Email I could scan it and send it later today. GOZZ.
