Are the rear Window switches illuminated?

Hi,
Before I take apart the back electric window switches I just wanted to check that they should illuminate when the headlights are on etc. If so what bulbs do I need?
Both my Ford Scorpio cars rear switches don't light up!

I think they should come on when the ignition is on.

If the rear window child lock is on, they are not illuminated (button besides hand brake lever), otherwise they should be.
