How would I know? (ABS)

Hi I have no real issues with the ABS but could some one advise what is the real and definate test to find out if its functioning correctly as designed, or indeed if it is working at all I am curious on this one and if its an obvious diagnosis then please accept my apologies. Kenboy

hi there if working correctly, then you shouldn't be aware of it. all you'll see is the abs warning check light at start up. if you want to check the operation of the system, then find a gravel or grass section and hit the brake pedal hard. you'll get a pulsing feeling through the brake pedal. you'll also be able to steer as well, but in the real world, the entire sequence is over in a matter of seconds. hth
